Youth training

Youth training splits fencers into groups. Each group fences its pools, then a crossed table (1st of pool 1 against last of pool 2…), all in a single competition.

Create the training

On the home screen: New youth training. The formula contains the “Youth training” phase; its preferences set:

• fencers and pools per group;
• how groups are made: by division, by ranking (serpentine) or at random, with club separation;
• places fenced: all, only 3rd place, or none.

The phase screen creates the groups (number, size of each group); fencers can be dragged from one group to another.

Place a group

In the organisation, Place a group… puts all the pools of a group on one or several pistes, with one or more referees. The group’s pools are fenced together: their bouts are interleaved (M1 pool 1, M2 pool 2, M3 pool 1…) and numbered once for the whole group; referees take turns at each bout.

Printing

Printing always gives the complete page of the group: its pools and its table, blank or filled in as results come. You choose to print this group or all groups.
