Organisation: pistes and referees

The organisation shows the hall (the pistes), the timeline, the list of bouts to place and the referees.

Place bouts

• The list shows each pool or bout’s state: To place (at the top), Placed, Referees only.
• Place… automatically spreads a batch’s bouts over free pistes from the timeline cursor.
• You can also drag a bout onto a piste, or double-click a piste or a pool to set its time by hand.

Pistes and referees of a pool

A pool can use several pistes and have several referees. Referees are spread over the pistes; on a piste with several referees, they take turns bout after bout.

Place a group

For youth training, Place a group… places all the pools of a group together on the chosen pistes (Youth training). Only referees free during the group are offered.

Referees from the same club

Assigning a referee from the same club as a fencer shows a message to confirm: “Referee from the same club as a fencer… Assign anyway?”. When spreading bouts, a referee does not referee a fencer of their club as long as another referee of the piste is free.
